A Day At Sesame Place

On Thursday Taylor finished pre-school at the two schools she goes to.  Onto Pre-K in September.  Friday her school was closed so I took the day off and we headed to Sesame Place with 6 of our friends.  First we did the water rides and pool then after a quick change, some lunch (in air conditioning) we hit the non-water rides.  Before the non-water rides we got our places on the side walk for the parade.  Just as the parade was starting the rain also started.  We took cover to watch the parade.  The girls also got to meet Big Bird and Elmo and have their pictures taken with them.  They were so excited to meet them.  We had a lot of fun with our friends and will make a return trip this fall for more non-water fun.

Taylor And Her New Friend!!!!

Yesterday we went to Addison McCarthy's first birthday party.  Addison came home from China last Saturday and this was the first time Taylor got to meet her.  She is a precious little girl.  We had fun at the party and spending time with Ryan and his new sister Addison.

From Russia With Love

On Wednesday June 8, 2011 my new nephew Wesley Francis Nije arrived at JFK airport from Kaliningrad, Russia.  Upon landing, just like his cousin Taylor he became and American citizen.  I was so glad to be at the airport to welcome him and his parents home.

Saturday with Friends - June 4, 2011

On Saturday June 4th we went to PA to Kathleen and Olivia's house to spend the afternoon with friends and to meet Jenna for the first time who came home from China in early May.  We all had a great time and it was so much fun to see the girls all playing together.  You may notice that in pretty much every picture Taylor has a different outfit on than the previous picture.  She and Olivia had fun raiding Olivia's closet all afternoon.

Memorial Day

We spent the afternoon walking around Holmdel Park.  What a pretty park.  Can't wait to go back.

Mother's Day

I had 3 Mother's Day celebrations this year at Taylor's schools.  On Friday afternoon it was Munchkins with Mom at her primary school.  Taylor and her class sang several songs and then we shared munchkins.  Received some beautiful artwork as a gift.

Now I know why I don't get powdered munchkins when I get them for Taylor.
She sure had fun eating them.
Here are some of the beautiful presents I received that Taylor made at both her schools.
On Thursday, I went to the elementary school for her afternoon class Mother's Day celebration.  The class also sang to us and presented us with some really beautiful handmade presents.  There was another celebration at the school early Friday afternoon for all the pre-school classes in the gym.

On Mother's Day after going out to ear for breakfast, we went to the zoo.  It was a beautiful day and we both had fun seeing all the animals at the zoo.  Taylor got to pet the sheep and feed them also.  She rode the carosel and played on the playground before we headed home.
Taylor also had her face painted with a butterfly before we headed home.  She sat perfectly still while it was being painted on her.  She sure did look beautiful when it was done.  I should have taken a picture once we got home because after sitting for 40 minutes in the car, it didn't look like a butterfly anymore!!!!
