FCC Halloween Party

On October 29th our Families with Children from China had their annual Halloween party.  This day won't be remembered for the party but for the 3 inches of snow we got.  Yes you read that right....SNOW.  First time in over 50 years the area had snow in October.  At the party all the kids had fun and they all looked so cute in their costumes.

Ear Tube.....Again

Very early on Wednesday October 26th Taylor and I headed to a surgical center so Taylor could get another tube in her right ear.  Her previous tube had come out (usually last 1 year) and there was fluid back in ear and her hearing in the right ear was down 30-40%.  The surgery took all of 10 minutes and was a success.  When they took me to the recovery room, I walked in and there she was sitting up, eating a popsicle and entertaining the nurses.  I didn't get a Hi Mommy when I walked in, I got a "where's my bear?"  The nurses gave her a teddy bear when we were walking into the operating room.  Never would have known she just had surgery.

Visiting the Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday October 15th we went to the Pumpkin Patch with Taylor's friend Carly and her Mom.  We went on a hay ride to the pumpkin field and the corn maze.  The girls had a lot of fun trying to find out how to get out of the maze.  We made it out and we didn't have to call 911 to do it!!!!!!!  Onto the pumpkin field where Taylor found the perfect pumpkin for our front stoop.

I don't know which one to get.

We found it.

Sesame Place.....Again!!!

On Sunday October 9th...that felt more like July 9th....we met all the girls at Sesame Place for a fun day of rides and seeing our favorite Sesame characters.  Unfortunately a lot of other people had the same idea and the place was packed.  We did go on a few rides and see the parade.  Everyone had a great time.

Celebrating Jenna!!!!!

On Sunday September 18th we went to Philadelphia to help our friend Dina celebrate her daughter Jenna.  Jenna was baptised and a party followed to celebrate and welcome her home.  Jenna came home from China in May.  It was so cute to see Jenna, Taylor and Charlotte together and playing.  They all had fun and tore up the dance floor with a kid friendly DJ.  Taylor loved dressing up in her party dress and had such a fun day.
