At the Pool and Beach

So it took me about 7 1/2 weeks to get Taylor into a bathtub to take a bath without crying and it took less than 2 minutes to get her into the pool and ocean. Go figure.

Taylor loved both the pool and the beach. At the beach we walked in the water until it came up to her knees. She liked watching the waves crash against her legs. She would fill up her pail with sand and then take it and dump it in the water and watch the waves take it away.

A Day at the Zoo

On Thursday we went to the Central Florida Zoo in Sanford. Taylor had a blast running around and looking at all the animals. We saw an elephant, monkeys, lots of birds and some really big alligators.

After the Ice Cream Cone.....

Taylor's First Ice Cream Cone

This past week Taylor and I went to Florida to visit Grandma and we had a great time. Taylor did great on both plane rides. Did distrube too many people around us!!! Hard to come home especially when we left 80 degrees for 59 degrees and a cold wind.

Grandma's house is always full of surprises and treats. Taylor had her first ice cream cone there and as you can see from the pictures she really enjoyed it. She had several more before we came home. More posts from Florida will follow later this week.

Mm Good!!!

A Busy Weekend for Miss Taylor

On Saturday our friends Heather, Christine and Erin came over to meet Taylor. A fun time for everyone and another birthday cake for Taylor. Taylor had lots of fun playing with Erin who is 8 months old. She can't wait for her to get a little bigger so they can play with all of her toys.

In the morning Taylor let me put her hair back in some clips and actually take a pictures. They didn't stay in too much longer after the picture was taken. I think she looks so cute with her hair back. Will keep trying.
Another birthday cake, candle to blow out and singing of Happy Birthday. I don't think she will ever tire of this.

On Sunday my friend Janet and her mother came down from Poughkeepsie NY to visit and meet Taylor for the first time. Taylor had a blast opening all the presents they brought with them. She now has a new wardrobe, a very cool glittery ball and ladybug pop-up book which she really likes playing with.

Taylor Takes Manhattan

On Wednesday I took Taylor into Manhattan to visit my office and co-workers for the first time. This was the first time she was on the Staten Island Ferry (probably the first time on any kind of boat) and the first time to visit New York City...it will not be her last!!!!! It was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine, no clouds and it was warm. Taylor loved the ferry ride and got excited as we got closer to Manhattan and could see the skyscrapers. Mine is right next to the Staten Island Ferry Terminal. She had a blast at work. Everyone loved her and she loved everyone. She had hugs a kisses for anyone that wanted one. They entertained her with magic markers, all kinds of stuffed toys, a bracelet of jingle bells and chair rides. It was nice being back in the office and seeing everyone and not having to work and leaving before 5pm. I was ready to leave but Taylor wasn't.
