Today Taylor played in the playroom with another family while Kathy and I started our packing. She had a great time and Kathy and I got our suitcases packed as best we could up to this point. Will finish off on Saturday morning. We are in good shape. Don't have to go buy another suitcase or carryon bag.
The big event for the day was going to the American Consulate to sign a paper and take an oath stating that all the information we provided them was accurate. Couldn't take pictures inside the consulate. Have some great ones of Taylor all dressed up before we left the hotel. She is also modeling her new sun glasses.
Tomorrow we will wander around and do any last minute shopping and get Taylor's visa around 5:00pm. Really looking forward to coming home on Saturday. Hope predicted snow showers in Beijing and Newark don't delay us. Will make a final post from China tomorrow night.
