This morning we visited the jade and pearl markets. Got a really nice strand of pearls, earrings and double strand bracelet for Taylor for when she gets married or for a special birthday present. It was fun watching them string the pearls while we waited. This afternoon we went back to the medical clinic to get the results of the TB test. My girl passed with flying colors!!!!! After that it was off to Starbucks to celebrate with the other families and then onto more shopping. Boy did we shop!!!! It is so much fun to do here. Taylor now has clothes to get us through the rest of the week.
Tomorrow we are off to a safari park where Kathy and I will get to hold and pet baby bengal tigers. Very appropriate since we were both born in the year of the tiger. I don't think Taylor will have the honor of petting them since dogs still freak her out. Can't even imagine what a baby tiger would do to her. She can watch from the outside. We should also be seeing some pandas which are my favorite. Can't come to China without seeing panda's.
